The Mazda CX-70 PHEV is a sporty full-size crossover SUV with electric plug-in hybrid capabilities that deliver a smooth but powerful ride. Designed for those who pursue a more active lifestyle, the CX-70 features standard all-wheel drive capabilities with up to 26 miles of all-electric range and 490 miles of total range with gas power included.
The CX-70 is designed to work in many different conditions. Mazda’s intelligent drive select system optimizes performance for sport, off-road, towing, and full electric situations. With a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, the CX-70 can also haul small trailers, boats, and other equipment when you need it.
Charging can be easily done from home with a typical power outlet. When connected to a 120-volt level 1 charger, the battery can go from 20 to 80 percent power in only 6 hours and 40 minutes, which favors overnight charging. By selecting a 240-volt level 2 charger instead, the charging time is reduced to an hour and 30 minutes.
